iPod shuffle now $49, 2GB model for $69
Apple lowered the price of the wildly popular iPod shuffle today to just $49, and introduced a new 2GB model for $69. The new 2GB model holds 500 songs in AAC format and comes in the same colors as before: blue, green, purple, red, and silver.
“At just $49, the iPod shuffle is the most affordable iPod ever,� said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPod Product Marketing. “The new 2GB model lets music lovers bring even more songs everywhere they go in the impossibly small iPod shuffle.�

Apple releases Aperture 2.0

Reinvented Software announced Feeder 1.5 today. Feeder is a versatile RSS editor for creating news feeds, podcasts and appcasts. Version 1.5 includes an updated user interface for Mac OS X Leopard and now supports thumbnails for video podcasts with the Media RSS extension, adds password-less SFTP, and brings improvements for tagging MP4 video files, item editing and Sparkle appcasts.Feeder makes working with RSS as straightforward as writing email and is packed with thoughtful features such as templates, previews, HTML editing and auto-completion.
