Mac OS X Leopard coming October 26th
Apple has just announced that the next version of Mac OS X, version 10.5 “Leopard”, will be available for purchase on October 26th at 6pm at Apple Retail Stores and Authorized Resellers. The new OS is now available for pre-order on the Apple Online Store. Leopard has over 300 new features including Spaces, Time Machine, a new redesigned Finder, and Quick Look.
“Leopard, the sixth major release of Mac OS X, is the best upgrade we’ve ever released,� said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “And everyone gets the ‘Ultimate’ version, packed with all the new innovative features, for just $129.�
